Right in the heart of the city, in the spectacular renovated Bourse building... Imagine a huge public space, open to all. A place to sit, to relax, to meet. With inviting places to eat and have a drink, or even with coworking spaces. In the same space, the world's largest interactive beer center: Belgian Beer World. More than just a museum, it's a unique experience. Add to this an astonishing archaeological site to visit in the basement. And there you have it: this multi-purpose venue is the Bourse.
Belgian beer culture, listed as an intangible heritage by UNESCO, deserved its own dedicated space. And now it's here: Belgian Beer World is now housed in the Brussels Stock Exchange, another jewel of our heritage, which has been completely renovated. Thanks to this Belgian public-private partnership, our belgian identity will shine throughout the world.
The huge nave of the Bourse is open to all, and free of charge. The project has come to fruition thanks to the participation of numerous Brussels players: social and cultural associations, neighborhood committees, residents, shopkeepers, businesses, etc. In addition to its cultural and tourist vocation, the Bourse is intended to be a living space that energizes the neighborhood and promotes citizen safety.
